Cory

Corgi mix

Male

2 yrs.

Cory

MIA! Cory is currently missing after excaping from his foster home.

Now you see him, now you don't. Cory is our resident Houdini. He can make your sandwich disappear before your eyes, sneak onto your bed before you even notice and slide right into your heart. He has been known to be an escape artist if left to his own devices but much prefers to hang out with you.

Baby

Female

Pit mix

Under 1 yr.

Baby

I found a puppy in early November. Someone left her in our alley. I took her in knowing I needed to find her a home. She has been to the vet, (record links attached), is current on all shots, etc. I also had her spayed. She stays outside but on cold nights I bring her in and crate her. She weighs about 45 lbs. She is healthy, sweet and very loving. She would like to be a lap dog but has almost gotten too big for that. She like other dogs and cats and doesn't bark unnecessarily. She is a pit bull mix, is very playful and loves attention. Looking for a loving forever home. I call her Baby.

I can be reached by phone or email. Darlene 361-739-8572 or darlenecurlee@gmail.com.

Big Boy

Big Boy

Big Boy is a friendly, calm, peaceful and very loving dog. He is neutered, current on his shots and house trained. Big Boy only rarely barks except at the mail truck which is any dogs job. If you are looking for a laid-back easy going companion then Big Boy is the dog for you.

Please contact Timothy Martinez at 361-815-4524 or email tim.martinez@hotmail.com.

Sandy

Female

Mixed breed

7 mos.

Sandy the dog

Sandy is a beautiful, healthy spayed female approximately six and a half months old. She was found at 10-weeks wandering the streets of Taft with her seven brothers and sisters. The entire litter was almost feral so their foster family has worked hard to socialize these lovable pups. Sandy has had all her shots and is current on her heartworm medication. Sandy loves to play ball with her foster family and frolick in the wading pool. Because of Sandy's early life on the streets, she is still shy around strangers. She needs a loving family who will patiently continue her socialization training. Sandy gets along well with other dogs and would do best in a family as a companion dog. This beautiful burnt orange dog would make a loyal companion for any Longhorn fan!

Sparky the dog

Sparky is a surprisingly calm 6 month old long, lanky, loving male. He wants a forever home where he can hang out and be a big couch potato. He is up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, and already neutered. This guy has been such a joy to foster, he likes other animals, walks well on a leash, is crate trained and potty trained.

Darla

Female

Under 1 yr.

Darla the dog

Darla is a playful 6 month old girl with tons of personality. Her favorite thing is getting to play with other dogs at dog park. She is slightly skittish at first introduction, but once she gets to know you she is the most loyal loving pet there could be. UTD on all shots, heartworm negative, and crate trained.

For more information on Darla send an email to fortheloveofstrays@yahoo.com

Disney

Female

Hound

1 yr.

Disney the dog

Disney the dog

Disney is a beautiful 'red-boned hound', less than a year old. She weighs 45 lbs, spayed and UTD on shots. She is a reddish color, very friendly, playful and inquisitive. She needs a secure yard where she can run and play. She loves to go for walks and loves the outdoors, but needs to be kept inside when it's cold or raining.

When the kids in the neighborhood see her they all come running and yelling "Disney" and she loves it. They hug her and she is very friendly. She has the body of a greyhound-sleek and slender, and the head of a small lab--someone told me she looks like a 'ridgeback hound'.

Please call 361-985-1553 if you are interested in Disney.
